I love the film version of Fiddler on the Roof. I hate musicals for the most part, but Fiddler I really dig. Beautiful movie, great songs, real sad. Back around 2000, a compilation/tribute to the soundtrack was released called Knitting on the Roof - all artists who are regulars at the Knitting Factory. Here’s two versions of Do You Love Me?, the song Tevye sings with Golda once their daughters start marrying off.
