Vic Chesnutt on All Songs Considered

Here’s an excellent half-hour with Vic Chesnutt, singing in the NPR offices for about 12 lucky buggers. I can’t embed it here – trust me, it’s worth a click. I invariably prefer VC in the all-stripped-down mode, when it’s really about his incredible singing – and that’s what this is. Includes a bare Glossalalia, Very Friendly Lighthouses, and a fine take of Panic Pure.

I think I’ve just been pushed into another Chesnutt phase. I have some gems to share, of the stripped-down variety, and will post them here shortly.
