This song is punching me in the throat right now but I can’t stop listening: Black, by Okkervil River, from the equally wicked Black Sheep Boy record. Fits into my longstanding passion for songs that put the unnameabale into pounding rock music…

Thanks Jason for turning me onto these guys. While I am broke and downloaded this illegally, I promise to buy it when I’m flush. They’re playing the Phoenix on October 12th, and I will be there jumping up and down. What a great band. Mmm.
