I feel like I’ve posted this before, but I can’t see it anywhere. I was struck by it in Freestyle (end of the credits) and then forgot about it. I watched the film again tonight and (ta da!) same effect: what a great track.

The movie, by the way, is great. Freestyle (The Art of Rhyme) is a look at the roots and evolution of MCing by Kevin Fitzgerald (aka DJ Organic), released in 2004. It’s sometimes packaged with Scratch, another great overview film (of turntablism this time). I highly recommend both films.
